Volunteers are Alpha Center’s most precious resource! As a volunteer-driven organization, we have a multitude of opportunities for you to utilize your gifts and talents, making a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
Our volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:
Daytime Client Advocates: Meet with clients during office hours, providing support and guidance.
Hotline Client Advocates: Speak with clients during nights and weekends off-site via mobile phone.
Male & Female Mentors: Offer mentorship and support to individuals in need.
Data Entry / Clerical / Organizing: Assist with administrative tasks to keep our operations running smoothly.
Building Maintenance: Help with gardening, snow removal, building repairs, and cleaning to maintain a welcoming environment.
Professional Services: Contribute your expertise in legal, financial, and other professional areas.
Painters: Assist with painting projects to keep our facilities fresh and inviting.
Photographers: Capture moments and events, helping to tell Alpha Center’s story.
Graphic Designers: Create visual materials that communicate our mission and services effectively.
Writers / Editors: Help craft content that informs and engages our community.
Church Champions: Act as liaisons between Alpha Center and local churches, fostering community support.
Decorators: Assist with decorating our spaces to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Alpha Center Booth Workers: Represent Alpha Center at events, sharing information and resources.
Baking / Food Preparation: Provide baked goods and food for events and meetings, adding a personal touch.
