The Alpha Center is thrilled to announce the launch of our Legacy Mobile Medical Unit, designed to reach communities across South Dakota! This state-of-the-art mobile unit is fully equipped to deliver all of our life-transforming services and support throughout the state, ensuring that individuals in even the most remote areas have access to essential care.
Our Legacy Mobile Medical Unit offers a wide range of services, including free and confidential pregnancy testing to help individuals determine if they are pregnant. Our tests are quick, reliable, and provide results within minutes, with our compassionate staff ready to discuss the results and provide support and guidance for next steps.
The mobile unit also offers limited ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy and estimate gestational age. These ultrasounds, performed by trained professionals, provide valuable information about the pregnancy, assisting expectant parents in making informed decisions about their future.
Additionally, the unit provides confidential STD testing to help individuals understand their sexual health status. Early detection and treatment of STDs are crucial for overall health, and we offer resources and support for those who test positive, ensuring they receive the care they need.
Education is a cornerstone of the services offered by the Legacy Mobile Medical Unit. We provide information on pregnancy, parenting, sexual health, and healthy relationships with educational support that aims to empower clients with knowledge and confidence.
Our after-abortion care services support individuals who have experienced an abortion. We offer emotional support, counseling, and follow-up in a non-judgmental environment, helping individuals navigate their feelings and health post-abortion.
